Just completed a 5 day, 6 night stay at Manuel’s place in Rome. He is a fab host, awaiting you on arrival to welcome you and orient you to the Eternal City. He gave us amazing recommendations for places to eat, best gelato and bars. Definitely worth following his advice! The food did not disappoint. The apartment is very conveniently located with fresh food markets in two directions. The Testaccio Market is fab, do not miss it! Everything from fresh produce, pop up restaurants and apparel under one roof. Public transport super easy to access or walk places if you’d like to get to know the neighborhood. Space wise, we travelled with our teenage daughters. The apartment comfortably hosted all four of us. Definitely look for places with an AC as Rome is hot during the summer and coming ‘home’ is a welcome respite. On our last day (Sunday) the world famous Porta Portese Market was literally on our doorstep. We enjoyed taking in the sights and sounds and the girls picked up a few bargains. Highly recommend staying here! We sure would on future trips to Roma ❤
